You are in your personal folder where you can add content.
On the right side you can see a menu named actions. Actions menu contains the actions that you are allowed to perform on each object.
For example here you can add page , add image , and so on. Click on the title of this welcome message and an 'edit' action will appear on the actions menu. Click this 'edit' action to change the content of this page. Click 'delete' to permanently delete this page (in fact you better do this , after reading this message)
One of the available actions on objects is 'edit tags'. Tags allow you to categorize your content. For example you can add photos of your summer vacation and add a tag to all of them named "2007 summer vacation".
Another available action is to comment on others' (and yours if you feel like it) people content. Do this by clicking the add comment link in the actions menu.
You can also see on the right side your personal menu (named with your username) where you can visit your personal folder , edit your settings or logout .
Click the settings link and you will be able to change your personal data , your user icon , your password.
You can edit the message that appears on the top right side of your blog by clicking the edit action while you are in your blog.
Once you logout you can log back in , by supplying your username and password in the login portlet.
